SENIOR SPRING and LADIES INTERNATIONAL RESULTS
SPRING INTERNATIONAL 2015
The spring international 2015 was held at Rutland Water recently. The welsh team captained
by Richard Hooper took fourth place.
The team fished well all week and soon worked out the right tactics. This was a well drilled team
who gave a 110 per cent and deserved a better result.The weather on match day was horrendous
but despite this they all stuck to the task.Congratulations to Richard on his captaincy and well done lads.

Welsh top rod was Gerallt Hughes with 7 fish for 13lbs 12.25 ozs. Congratulations to Gerallt who
achieved this on his first cap.
LADIES WIN SILVER ON GRAFHAM
The ladies team won tyhe silver medal at the recent international on Grafham W ater.This was a
marvellous result.
Captained by Cheryl Bulman and coached by Dean Kibble the ladies practiced well despite not
being able to fish on the Tuesday because of the windy weather.
On match day the weather improved and all the ladies were able to fish the method agreed which
resulted in a fantastic second place.Many congratulations to Cheryl, Dean and the team for a
job well done.

Congratulations also go to Rhian Taylor who was welsh top rod with 6 fish for 289 points
and to Mary-Jane Horgan who caught the best fish in the competition.
