Senior Autumn Team – Captain and New Caps Presentation – 2016

                   Following the Inter-Teams Competition at Llyn Trawsfynydd on Sunday 10th April 2016, Mr Rhys Llywelyn,  WSTAA President,  presented this years Senior Autumn Team Captain badges to Mr Bob Jones of Mountain Ash


      Presented ‘Welsh International Senior Caps’ to the newly qualified and first time team members -Martin Bratton of Tawe and Mathew Russel of Islwyn.

        and also to former Welsh Youth International, Lewis Rumble of Llangennech and a former Ladies International Gayle Marsh of Llanilar, who’s angling skills overcame the bastions of the last male dominated ‘Welsh International Fly-Fishing Team’ and secured her place in the history of welsh angling by becoming it’s first ‘Senior Team’s’ female angler.

            Geraint Roberts of Ogwen Valley was unable to attend at Trawsfynydd and will be presented with his Welsh International Cap at a later date.

       Bob Jones will Captain the Team consisting of the above-mentioned personnel together with Terry Llewelyn – Geoff Thompson – Mark Evans – Andrew Roydon, – Phil Wood – James Raw – Mark Williams, and Andrew Banner at the Home International Match to be held at Llandegfedd Reservoir on Friday 23rd September 2016.
